The Raim Wine Fest took place in Palma this past weekend, and we at LoMusic were part of it as sponsors of the event. We were responsible for all the technical production for the Raim Wine Fest, including setting up the festival’s two stages: the main stage at Parc de la Mar, and another at Ses Voltes.
Over the course of a weekend, the Raim Wine Fest brought together wine lovers, wineries and visitors of all ages at two of Palma’s most iconic venues. It was a festival with a carefully curated programme and a very distinct identity, where the technical aspects had to support the event without drawing attention to themselves.
As the festival was spread across two venues, the technical challenge was twofold: each venue had its own characteristics and requirements, and both had to operate to the same standard and at the same pace throughout the weekend.
The set-up was a key part of our work. Our team was responsible for erecting and preparing the festival’s two stages, ensuring they were ready on time and fully equipped for the duration of the event.
For this stage, we were involved in erecting the canopy. We know the Parc de la Mar very well from other festivals we’ve organised there, and this enabled us to tackle the set-up with experience and confidence, ensuring that the main stage at the Raim Wine Fest ran smoothly.
We set up the Ses Voltes stage, adapting it to the specific characteristics of the venue, with the necessary technical production to ensure that the performances and the festival atmosphere flowed naturally and were of the same high standard as on the main stage.
A festival with two stages – one of which is on a grand scale – cannot be organised by just one person or a single department. Several departments at LoMusic were involved in the technical production of the Raim Wine Fest, working in a coordinated manner before, during and after the event to ensure that all the set-up and technical operations went according to plan.
That is one of the key advantages of having our own team: all the work, from set-up to dismantling, is co-ordinated within the same company, with a single point of responsibility and a single point of contact for the organisers. We have been working in this way on all kinds of events in Mallorca since 1998.
Being part of initiatives such as this, linked to the island’s gastronomy, culture and music, is a way of continuing to support the events that bring Mallorca to life.
Thank you to the organisers for placing their trust in us, and to everyone who made the Raim Wine Fest possible. It has been a pleasure to handle the technical production of this festival and the set-up of its two stages, and we hope to do it again soon.
If you’re organising a festival or an event with several venues and need a technical team to handle the set-up and all aspects of production, get in touch and we’ll discuss your project. The technical production for the Raim Wine Fest is just one example of what we can do for your event.
