What is included in the hire of sound and lighting equipment?
This includes the equipment only. It does not include technical equipment, or set-up, dismantling, collection or return: the hirer is responsible for all of these.
What equipment is available to hire?
We hire out all kinds of equipment: microphones, speakers, DJ booths, DJ controllers, professional lighting, projectors, screens, marquees, structures, raised platforms and stages.
Can a private individual rent a property?
Yes, we hire out equipment to both businesses and private individuals. Are you organising your birthday party and need some speakers? At LoMusic, you can hire whatever equipment you need.
What is the difference between equipment hire and audiovisual production?
For audiovisual production, LoMusic designs, sets up, operates and dismantles the sound, video and lighting for your event using its own technical team. With equipment hire, you simply receive the equipment and manage it yourself. If you’re unsure, we’ll advise you on the most suitable option for your event.
Can we choose the songs that will be played?
Yes. Before the event, we’ll work with you to put together the music selection: essential tracks for key moments, styles that suit your guests, and songs you’d rather not hear. The DJ will work from that list and adapt it live to the response on the dance floor, whilst sticking to what’s been agreed.
What if I also need stages, marquees or screens set up?
Assembly and disassembly are part of a separate service. Take a look at our services and ask for information on whatever you need.
