Every wedding has its own identity, but rarely is that identity as powerful as it is at a Hindu wedding. Color, symbolism, and a staging that is an integral part of the ritual itself are the elements we worked with when LoMusic was responsible for the comprehensive technical production of this celebration at the Jardines de Alfabia—one of Mallorca’s most unique venues—in collaboration with wedding planner Talia Bell.
This project is a good example of how we approach the technical production of weddings in Mallorca: it’s not just about setting up sound and lighting, but about translating the identity of each celebration into technical terms, respecting its symbolism and adapting to a venue with as much character as Alfabia.
The Alfabia Gardens are a 13th-century estate located in Bunyola, in the heart of the Serra de Tramuntana, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its Hispano-Arabic origins, its cobblestone courtyard, its pergola with intersecting fountains, and its gardens with English and tropical influences make it one of the most sought-after wedding venues on the island—and also one of the most technically demanding: every corner has its own architecture, its own vegetation, and its own natural light, and any installation must blend in without disrupting that balance.
Working in a space like this requires the same care as working in a historic site: it demands technical excellence and quality, yes, but without the equipment visually competing with the surroundings.

The result is a production conceived as a cohesive whole, in which every technical element reinforces the aesthetics and symbolism characteristic of a Hindu wedding, where color and staging play a particularly important role at every moment of the celebration.
Instead of using a conventional screen, for this wedding we chose to set up suspended fabrics onto which to project audiovisual content. This solution allows the projection to be integrated much more organically into a space like Alfabia, where a traditional rigid screen would have disrupted the garden’s natural aesthetic. The fabrics also add movement and texture that harmonize with the surroundings, transforming the projection into yet another decorative element—not just a functional one.
One of the most striking elements of this production was the design of the dance floor: a checkerboard with the couple’s initials in the center, in red—the same shade as the bride’s dress and one of the colors with the greatest symbolic significance in a Hindu wedding, traditionally associated with prosperity and good fortune.
Designing a custom dance floor involves coordinating its color, pattern, and dimensions with the rest of the technical setup and the event’s overall decor, so that it becomes the visual centerpiece of the party while remaining consistent with everything else: lighting, furniture, and ambiance.
As the central structure of the dance floor area, we erected a truss totem that, in addition to serving as a technical support for part of the lighting, functions as a scenic element, visually marking the gathering point of the party. Above this structure and throughout the rest of the space, we designed a sound system with the power and clarity needed for both the ceremony and the dance, along with lighting designed to complement every phase of the celebration, from the most ceremonial moments to the after-party.
To add a unique touch to the party, we’ll have a performance by REF020 – Live Sax Music, one of the artists from our own roster. His live saxophone performance, combined with the rest of the musical set, created a unique atmosphere during the party, enhancing the ambiance already set by the dance floor, the truss structure, and the venue’s lighting.
Having artists from our own roster allows us to provide—in addition to the technical production—the artistic aspect of the event with the same level of coordination and the same high standards, all managed by a single team.
A wedding with so many symbolic and aesthetic elements requires very precise coordination among all the vendors. On this project, we worked side by side with wedding planner Talia Bell, whose overall vision for the event was key to ensuring that every technical element—from the projection to the dance floor—perfectly reflected the identity we were aiming for with the celebration.
