Miguel “Miki” Ramon is what many refer to as, “A musician’s musician”. Born on the island of Mallorca, Spain, in 1976, Miguel discovered an early love for music by playing his father’s albums over and over. It was while listening to his idol Wes Montgomery’s version of “My Favourite Things” that Miguel was led towards another musician, one that would play a vital role in his life, John Coltrane. Soon after, Miguel bought a tenor saxophone and steadily began to blow… Having nurtured a natural talent -combined with an eclectic passion for instruments- Miguel can often be heard playing saxophone, guitar, clarinet and piano, amongst others… embracing many of the world’s different kinds and types of genres including: Jazz, Blues, Bossa Novas, Flamenco, Classical, etc. Considered a respected friend and band member by his peers, Miguel can be seen performing onstage somewhere tonight…
The rest, as they say… is history.
